England’s Ramprakash as SL Head Coach? Featured

It is reported that England’s batsman Mark Ramprakash has agreed to work as the new head coach of the Sri Lankan national team. According to cricket internal reports, he is willing to take over as the head coach of the Sri Lankan cricket team.

The discussions between Ramprakash and Sri Lanka Cricket have come to the final stages and if the SLC is able to secure his appointment, it is most likely that he will join the team for the Pakistan-Sri Lanka tour.

He has scored 2,350 runs in 52 tests for England, while he has scored 35,659 runs in 461 first division matches which includes 114 centuries.

Currently, Rumesh Ratnayake is serving as Sri Lanka’s coach.

The former Sri Lankan coach Chandika Hathurusinghe’s services was suspended in August, against which he has initiated legal action, it is reported.
