Shehan Madushanka remanded until June 23

Sri Lanka’s fast bowler Shehan Madushanka, who was remanded on charges of possessing heroin, was further remanded till June 23 by Kuliyapitiya Magistrate Janani Shashikala Wijethunga today (09).

Madushanka and another individual were arrested recently over possessing heroin and were subsequently remanded.

Following this arrest, Madushanka was also suspended by Sri Lanka Cricket from all forms of cricket.
