SLC Anti-Corruption Unit quizzes Malinda (Video) Featured

The Anti-Corruption Unit of Sri Lanka Cricket has quizzed spinner Malinda Pushpakumara, who is currently playing for the 'Dambulla Vikings' franchise competing at the ongoing Lanka Premier League (LPL), reports  say.

Malinda has been quizzed over the suspicious 'no-ball' bowled by him during a crucial moment, during the match against the Kandy Tuskers on Nov. 28.

Sri Lanka Cricket has already announced that the LPL 2020 will have all the necessary measures in place to protect the integrity of the tournament and will adopt a zero-tolerance policy against any wrongdoing.

The SLC and ICC Anti-Corruption Units will maintain a 24×7 hotline during the entire period of the tournament to receive information pertaining to any suspicious or corrupt activity, and also conduct Anti-Corruption Education Programs for all the players and officials, before commencing the tournament.
