Charith Asalanka, who was Sri Lanka's highest run-scorer in the recently concluded ICC Men's T20 World Cup, will not play for the first Test against West Indies, which will commence tomorrow (21) in Galle.
Speaking at a media briefing today (20), team captain Dimuth Karunaratne said that he and Pathum Nissanka are to open the Sri Lankan batting lineup, followed by Oshada Fernando at No. 03.
