A crucial match of the first round of the T20 World Cup cricket tournament will be held between Sri Lanka and the Netherlands in Geelong, Australia today (20).

Sri Lanka must win today’s match to qualify for the Super 12 round.

Currently, the Dutch team has managed to take the lead in the “A” group during the first round, while the Sri Lankan team is in third place followed by Namibia, who defeated Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan team has lost several key players such as Dilshan Madhusanka, Dushmantha Chameera and Dhanushka Gunathilake due to injuries.

Sri Lanka Cricket said Binura Fernando, Kasun Rajitha and Ashen Bandara have been called to the team instead.
