Sri Lanka Women’s National Cricket Team Skipper Chamari Atapattu is set to make her debut in ‘The Hundred’ tournament in England.
Atapattu will play for the Oval Invincibles, joining the most successful franchise in the history of the Women’s Hundred, having won the first two seasons and finishing as runners-up in the last edition.
Atapattu, who recently led Sri Lanka to their maiden Asia Cup title and was named Player of the Tournament, has an impressive record.
The 34-year-old has represented Sri Lanka in 139 T20Is, scoring 3,326 runs at an average of 25.38 with a strike rate of 110.90.
