Sri Lankan women’s cricket captain – Chamari Athapaththu will be among the foreign players up for auction during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) second edition on December 09 in Mumbai.
The player will be auctioned at a base price of INR 03 million.
“The second edition of the Women’s Premier League Player Auction list is out with a total of 165 cricketers set to go under the gavel on December 9 in Mumbai,” according to a statement from the league.
Of the 165 players, 104 are from India and 61 are from other countries, of which 15 are associate nations. There are 56 capped players and 109 uncapped players in total.
