Sri Lankan cricketer Dilshan Madushanka has been ruled out of the ongoing tour of Bangladesh following an injury sustained during the 2nd One-Day International (ODI) match.
Madushanka, who exited the field while bowling in the second ODI, has been diagnosed with a left hamstring injury, as confirmed by an MRI scan.
As a result of the injury, Madushanka will not participate further in the tour and will instead return to commence rehabilitation work.
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has not provided further information regarding potential replacements or changes to the squad following Madushanka’s injury.
