Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva has been appointed to 03 key committees of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Accordingly he will serve in the following ICC committees:
1. HR & Remuneration Committee
2. Finance & Commercial Affairs Committee
3. Nominations Committee

Silva was recently elected as SLC President for a fourth consecutive term, with his new term running until 2027.

Sri Lanka Cricket has appointed new office bearers for 2025 – 2027.

The new office bearers were appointed today (March 31).

The following office-bearers for the 2025–2027 term were elected uncontested.

• President: Mr. Shammi Silva  
• Vice Presidents : Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa and  Mr. Ravin Wickramaratne 
• Secretary: Mr. Bandula Dissanayake 
• Treasurer: Mr. Sujeewa Godaliyadda  
• Assistant Secretary: Mr. Chryshantha Kapuwatte  
• Assistant Treasurer: Mr. Lasantha Wickremasinghe 

The Sri Lanka Cricket election was held today (31 Mar) under the supervision of the Election Committee, chaired by Retired Court of Appeal Justice Ms. Malani Gunaratne, who officially declared the results.

Shammi Silva has been re-elected uncontested as the President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) for the 2025–2027 term.

His re-election was confirmed uncontested during the 64th Annual General Meeting of Sri Lanka Cricket, with the Election Committee overseeing the process.

This marks his fourth consecutive term in office, and for the third time, he has secured the position without opposition.
