New Zealand Powerlifter Kavishi Kariyawasam has qualified for the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships 2022 which will be held in Auckland from Nov. 28.
28 year old Kavishi is of Sri Lankan origin and will compete in the U52kg category.
Kavishi, who had moved to New Zealand 10 years ago for her higher studies, had taken up powerlifting.
This will be her first international championship representing New Zealand.
