The second ODI between Sri Lanka and New Zealand which was scheduled to commence at 6.30 am local time in Christchurch, has been abandoned due to bad weather.
Having won the first match of the three-match ODI series by 198 runs, New Zealand is currently in the lead, and the third ODI is scheduled to be held in Hamilton on March 31.
