The Sri Lankan cricket team left for New Zealand early today (27) for a tour comprising of Test, ODI and T20 matches.
A total of 17 players and 12 officials are included in the team.
The Sri Lankan team would participate in two Test matches, three One Day matches and three T20I matches during this tour.
The Test matches will be held under the World Championship Test Series while the One Day matches will be held as qualifying matches for the Cricket World Cup.
The T20 matches will be held focusing on international rankings.
Dimuth Karunaratne has been named as Captain of the team.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Dasun Shanaka and other players would join the Sri Lankan team later in the ODI and T20 matches.
