Sri Lanka emerged overall 3rd place at the 2nd South Asian Sambo Championship held in Bangladesh which was held from Nov. 01 – Nov. 04.
The Sri Lankan contingent, which won 09 medals in total (04 Gold, 03 Silver and 02 Bronze), has successfully qualified for the Asian level tournament.
They arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake yesterday (Nov. 07) amd was warmly welcomed by their families and officials of the Sri Lanka Sambo Federation.
