Sri Lanka wins ODI series against India
Opener Avishka Fernando and Kusal Mendis hit half-centuries to help Sri Lanka reach 248-7 against India as the hosts sealed the third ODI against India by 110-runs today (Aug. 07).
Sri Lanka also sealed the series with this victory, marking it as the first series win against India in 27 years.
Fernando made 96 and put on big partnerships, including an 89-run opening stand with Pathum Nissanka, who hit 45, to lay the foundations for Sri Lanka in Colombo.
