A tense situation had taken place earlier this afternoon at the Dambulla International Cricket grounds after the public arrived to purchase tickets for the ongoing T20I series between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
However, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) had previously announced tickets for the last two T20 games have already been sold out and urged the public to refrain from arriving at the ticket counters at Colombo and Dambulla, which have been closed since.
Regardless, people had turned up at the Dambulla International Cricket grounds ahead of today’s T20 match, and broken through the barricades in a bid to reach the ticket counters.
