Wanted terrorist connected to SL cricket team attack killed

Iqbal alias Bali Khayara, a member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Al-Qaeda, who was wanted over the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore in 2009, has been killed in a police encounter near Fateh Moor in Dera Ismail Khan, authorities said on Thursday.

According to Daily Pakistan, Khayara was one of the most wanted terrorists, and the Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police had offered a reward of Rs10.5 million for his capture, whether dead or alive.

After Iqbal attacked the police, they responded by killing him and one of his accomplices.

Iqbal was wanted in connection with 26 terrorist attacks and targeted assassinations.

No change in Litro Gas prices for December

The Litro Gas Company says that the prices of its domestic LP Gas cylinders will remain unchanged for the month of December 2024.

Chairman of Litro Gas – Channa Gunawardena stated that the company decided to keep the prices of LP gas cylinders unchanged despite the price hike in the global market, in order to provide relief to the consumers.

Accordingly, the prices of Litro LP gas domestic gas cylinders will remain unchanged as follows:

12.5kg – Rs. 3,690
05kg – Rs. 1,482
2.3kg – Rs. 694

Tomorrow’s Parliamentary session to continue until 9.30 pm

It has been decided during the party leaders’ meeting to conduct tomorrow’s (Dec. 04) parliamentary session until 09.30 pm.

Accordingly, the adjournment debate regarding the disaster situation caused by the recent adverse weather conditions will be held from 05.30 pm – 09.30 pm tomorrow.
