The Ministry of Sports and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has handed over US$100,000 to Sri Lanka sprinter Yupun Abeykoon,
The donation has been handed over to develop his athletics.
Abeykoon, who is claimed as the ‘fastest man in South Asia’, has entered into an agreement with the Ministry and the SLC in this regard.
SLC’s Secretary Mohan de Silva and Director General of Sports Amal Edirisooriya participated in the signing of the agreement.
