According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the rules will be relaxed with effect from Sunday.

Earlier, it was mandatory for anyone entering the US from another country to undergo a Covid-19 test. 

However, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention said the law was no longer effective in view of the country's progress made in the fight against the Covid-19 virus.
