2018 welcomed with a bang (Video)

Across the world the, new year of 2018 is being welcomed with a bang amid fireworks, celebrations and prayers.

The first to welcome the new year are people in the Pacific islands of Samoa, Tonga and Kiritimati, an atoll in the ocean also known as Christmas Island, part of the republic of Kiribati.

Fireworks in London, Hong Kong, Pyongyang, Sydney and Auckland are shown below :
