Former Chinese premier Li Keqiang has died of a heart attack aged 68.
Chinese State media said he had been “resting” in Shanghai when he suffered a sudden heart attack on Thursday.
He passed away 10 minutes past midnight on Friday despite “all-out efforts” to revive him, state broadcaster CCTV said.
Mr. Li was a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 17th, 18th and 19th Communist Party of China central committees.
