Two Indians recruited by the Russian Army lost their lives in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, India’s External Affairs Ministry said in a statement today (12 June).
Concerns have been raised with Moscow on the matter and the ministry had asked the authorities to immediately stop the recruitment of Indians to the Russian army.
It further said that the country had demanded for an early release and return of all Indian nationals recruited to the Russian military.
