SLPP’s Renuka runs profitable Milco to the ground!

The Milco branch of the Sri Lanka Nidahas Sevaka Sangamaya states that the once profitable dairy product maker has become a loss-making one under the administration of Mr. Renuka Perera, the current chairman of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).

Mr. Sumith Attanayake, who chairs the Trade Union states that Milco, which had accumulated profits in 2019, 2020 and 2021, is now in debt.

Mr. Perera was named as the Milco Chairman in 2022 January.

Last month, police had arrested 13 employees of Milco for allegedly holding Mr. Perera and several others as hostages at the main office.
