The Colombo Commercial High Court yesterday (17) ordered to postpone the contempt of court case against the ‘Jaya Sri’ Jayalath brothers for February 21, 2023.
The decision was made yesterday in the case against the brothers Rohitha Jayalath and Rohan Jayalath for singing the songs censored by the court in violation of the injunction order issued by the Colombo Commercial High Court.
High Court Judge Priyantha Fernando had earlier issued summons against Rohitha and Rohan Jayalath over contempt of court.
On behalf of petitioner Aruna Lian, Counsel Sadun Senadhipita appeared on the advice of Counsel Thilini Hewawitharana.
President’s Counsel Chandika Jayasundara appeared for the respondent Jayalath brothers.
