Accepting nominations for the upcoming Local Government (LG) Elections begins today (March 17).
The Election Commission stated that nominations for 336 Local Government Institutions will be accepted until 12 noon on March 20.
The election date is scheduled to be announced after the handing over of nominations have concluded.
Meanwhile, acceptance of postal voting applications for the LG polls will also end at midnight today.
