A 30-year-old man was killed in a shooting incident in the Badowita area within the Mount Lavinia Police Division last night (Nov. 13).
The victim, a resident of Badowita Phase 3, was pronounced dead upon admission to the Kalubowila Hospital.
A T-56 assault rifle is suspected to have been used in the shooting.
Further investigations are underway.
