The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has refuted claims citing that they have accepted responsibility for the islandwide power outage experienced in Sri Lanka earlier in December.
Earlier today (27), a statement by the Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) had revealed that the CEB had admitted it was at fault for the power outage.
Noting that the statement by the PUCSL Chairman was false, the CEB further said its Internal and External Investigation Committees are yet to submit their reports with findings on the island-wide power failure.
