The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has decided to obtain statements from the people who invested money with Thilini Priyamali, who defrauded many businesspersons by operating an office at the World Trade Centre, but have not complained so far.
They will be questioned based on the evidence given by Priyamali and other suspects and based on the information obtained from her office.
Sources at the police headquarters said that these statements will be obtained after reporting facts to the court since the relevant persons have not yet filed complaints with the CID.
