A special meeting between Party Secretaries and the Election Commission (EC) is scheduled for today (15) at the EC office in Rajagiriya.
This will be the first meeting following the announcement of the 2024 Parliamentary Elections.
The discussion will focus on setting the minimum spending limits for candidates and outlining the regulations governing election campaigns.
The EC will issue a related Gazette after the meeting to establish the rules for the upcoming elections.
