The Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) will engage in a 24-hour token strike against the recent tax revision.
The token strike will commence at 8.00am tomorrow (08) at all hospitals and they will be joined by several health unions.
This was decided at a Central Committee meeting of the GMOA this morning.
However, essential medical services including operations at children’s hospitals, maternity hospitals and the cancer hospital will continue unhindered, the GMOA says.
