The All-Island Grama Niladhari Officers’ Association has announced a two-day trade union action to protest the arbitrary gazetting of the Grama Niladhari Service Constitution.
The association’s General Secretary – Jagath Chandralal, has stated that they will withdraw from their service duties next Monday and Tuesday.
However, he has assured that this action will not interfere with election activities.
