The Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, and Local Government has announced plans to initiate legal action against former ministers who have not yet returned their official residences.
A senior ministry official confirmed that these measures comply with regulations governing government housing. Of the 28 residences provided to ministers in the previous administration, 12 remain unreturned.
The ministry also instructed officials to ensure that all outstanding utility bills, including electricity and water, are cleared before the residences are handed back.
