Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has also expressed that he would back efforts to abolish the Executive Presidency.
It should be abolished because the whole country is requesting to abolish it, he has said.
Mr. Rajapaksa who was elected to office twice as Executive President, was defeated in his third attempt.
