Mr Gihan de Silva today (Dec. 26) assumed duties as the new Chairman of the Sri lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC).
He was appointed to the post after the resignation of Dr. Senesh Dissanaike Bandara.
Mr Gihan de Silva is a reputed business professional with over 25 years of experience in leading multi -brand corporate operations in Sri Lanka.
A product of Nalanda College, Colombo, Mr. de Silva completed his Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. He also holds a postgraduate Diploma in Business Management at the University of Colombo.
He is also a Presidential Task Force member of the “Clean Sri Lanka” Programme.
