Education Minister Susil Premajayantha said that the principal of the Rambukpitiya Maha Vidyalaya in Nawalapitiya has been transferred to the Gampola Zonal Education Office with immediate effect.
The minister said this while addressing the Parliament today (Nov. 23).
The principal was transferred following the incident where he had allegedly forced some students to eat polythene and newspapers.
