Dr. Sarath Amunugama has resigned from the Mawbima Janatha Party led by Dilith Jayaweera.
He had functioned as the chairman of the party.
Just a day earlier, Mr. Jayaweera inked a policy agreement with several political groups in Colombo to launch the ‘Sarva Jana Balaya.’
