The time limit pertaining to the conclusion of musical shows has been amended as per an order of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka,
Minister of Tourism – Harin Fernando says.
Tweeting, he said that the limit has been changed as per the court order issued on a Fundamental Rights (FR) case.
Accordingly, the original time limit to end musical shows at 10pm has been extended as follows :
* Fridays and Saturdays – 1.00am
* Sundays – 12.30am
However, a reasonable distance should be kept between the venue / musical shows and hospitals and religious places, the minister added.
